I don't know about you but I don't like cold calling!!! However, without realizing it I do it often. Ever since I started to learn to sell I have been sending letters of introduction to prospects and then following with a phone call. It is a simple system that has never let me down, it give me a purpose for calling and a nice way to introduce myself without feeling as though I'm "intruding on someones time"
I do it when I have to but hate it! Particularly when you are wanting to speak with the person the 'Gate-keeper' is protecting.
I used to be one of those girls and loved the challenge of keeping the cold caller away, I guess I should turn the cold calling into a 'challenge' to get passed the person I used to be.....you just got me thinking...!
